Items customer needs to provide.

Silicone sealer for sealing all joints recommended.

Tools needed.

For new tables manufactured after 7-10-18 a Philips screw driver is all that is needed. Skip steps 1 & 2.

You will need to source a length of 1 ¼” inside diameter bilge type hose length as required for your particular application. Inexpensive 1 ¼”swimming pool hose works fine and can be easily sourced online or at a swimming pool supply company.

For tables manufactured before 7-10-18 you will need to accurately drill 2 sizes of holes a 1/8” drill bit for pilot holes is needed & a 3/16” drill for clearance holes and an 82* countersink bit and a couple clamps. This retrofit is offered in my shop in Ridgefield, WA for a moderate cost you will either need to pay shipping both ways or drop off in person or use your own shipping carrier. Miller Marine Products is not responsible for damaged tables or gutter parts from a customer install not being performed inside our shop.

Customers retrofit gutter installation:

You will need a drill stop to fit a 1/8” drill bit this can be made from a block of wood. You need a stop to keep from drilling completely through the bottom of the table. Set the stop using the table top to measure you need to drill .400” deep so as not to drill through the table top. Plastic tends to self-feed a drill bit, drilling without a stop will most likely end in a hole through the top

Block of wood method, drill a hole through a 2x4 block or other proper sized block with the 1/8” drill bit. With the drill bit sticking through the block adjust the amount the drill sticks through the block to be less than the thickness of the table top approximately .400" or a little more than 3/8” the table top is approximately ½” or .500”.

1)      Disassemble the table back from the table and use the gutter back side for a drilling template as shown below clamping the 2 parts together. After drilling the holes with a 3/16” drill bit countersink the holes on the front side of the back table piece, counter sink them to fit a #8 flat head screw.

2)      Clamp the gutter bottom mount to the bottom of the table with the flat edge facing the back of the table and the countersunk holes up. Use the table bottom mount as a drilling template to accurately place the holes using a stop on the 1/8” drill bit to keep from drilling through the table top. See drawing below.

3)      Identify all parts listed in the parts list.

4)      Attach the end pieces to the bottom piece using 2 - #8 x 1” screws on each end. Take note the end pieces are not interchangeable the drawing shows an F for front and a B for back.

5)      Attach the inside side to the bottom using 4 - #8 x 1” screws from the bottom and 1 - #8 x 1” screws on each end. In this step you decide which way you want the hose port to face it can be placed on either end.

6)      Attach the table bottom mount to the inside side using 4 - #8 x 1” screws the countersunk holes of the table bottom mount must face down.

7)      Attach the back side to the bottom and ends using 4 - #8 x 1” screws from the bottom and 2 - #8 x 1” screws on each end.

8)      Attach the top to the back side using 4 - #8 x 1” screws and install 2 - #8 x 1” screws from the top into the inside side with a screw at each end on the top and 2 - #8 x 1” screws on each end.

9)      Attach the hose port with fitting to the bottom using 4 - #8 x 1” screws.

10)   Attach the assembled unit to the table from the bottom using 7 - #8 x 7/8” screws caution do not use 1” screws on this step you will damage the table top.

11)   Attach the assembled unit to the back of the table with the gutting tray removed to the back of the table using 4 - #8 x 1” screws.

12)   Install the clean out port covers using the ¼” – 20 X ¾” plastic thumbs screws.

13)   Install gutter hose.
