The interchange base mount is designed to be installed on the bow of a boat to be used in conjunction with one of our interchangeable mounts that will mount an anchor nest part MMP-10011 (sold separately) or part MMP-10013 (sold separately) to mount a bow mount trolling motor. This is just the beginning of this new mounting system we have other accessories planned for this platform such as boarding ladders, crab davit, light bars Etc. This system was designed to make our Anchor Locker removable to exchange for a trolling motor but we are not stopping there. This new mounting system may be compatible with other manufacturers equipment.
This mount utilizes the same bolt pattern as our Anchor Locker so there will be no need to drill any new holes in your boat if you already have our Anchor Locker. You will be able to unbolt your current Anchor Locker bolt this base mount in place bolts included then with the use of our part MMP-10011 (sold separately bolt your Anchor Locker to that mating mount and you are ready to go add the optional trolling motor mount and you can change from your anchor nest to trolling motor with no tools and very little time. This also allows removal of these expensive items when the boat is being stored.
