Pedestal Base Mount Strong Arm Rod Extension Kit

The Strong Arm Rod Holder Pedestal Mount Kit is designed to mount a rod holder to a horizontal mounting surface. This kit is adjustable every 10* in both a vertical and horizontal axis this improves adjustment over most rod holder systems.

The Strong Arm pedestal mount kit includes one pedestal base mount, one right angle mount, one dog bone extension and one rod adapter mount. These are the parts needed to attach a rod holder using the Strong Arm System to a horizontal surface. You may purchase addition dog bone extensions to create more reach and each dog bone can be placed at any angle desired to reach vertical or horizontal or both directions.

When purchasing this kit you have your choice of Dog Bone Extension length. The dog bones are measured from center line of pivot screw to center line of the next pivot screw ging you a true extension length, the extension will actually measure approximately 2" longer than the extension length listed for example an 8" extension has an overall length of 10". All base mounts, right angle mounts and dog bone extensions are constructed from 3/8" thick structural 6061 T6 aluminum. Rod adapters are constructed of 1/4" structural 6061 T6 aluminum. All aluminum parts are then anodized with heavy clear marine anodizing for long life and no fading.

This kit with the pedestal base mount, right angle mount & rod adapter will add 4 3/8" from the mounting surface then add that number to the extension you choose take into consideration the angle the dog bone is set at. You can easily use a tape measure and bend the tape measure to create the angle & height you need to determine the dog bone extensions needed or a combination of Dog Bone extensions needed.

Plastic rod holder mounts manufactured by other manufacturers show in the pictures are not included in this kit.
