New Product!!! This downrigger mount can be used with the Miller Marine Products rail system as well as other rail systems. The mount is machined from a piece of structural 6061 T6 aluminum 1/4" wall 6" x 6" angle the parts are then anodized with clear thick marine anodizing.
A separate rail mount is available to mount to the Miller Marine Products rail system add part number MMP-1041 to the cart if you want to mount it to your Miller Marine Products rail system (note this rail mount will not work with any other rail system). To mount this mount to another manufacturers rail system you will need to source a rod holder mount from that company Miller Marine Products does not guarantee fitment to other manufacturers products or guarantee the strength of anything not manufactured by Miller Marine Products you will need to make the judgement that those parts are compatible.
There are 2 slots that are the same spacing as a standard rod holder mount allowing the use of a rod block from another manufacturer to be used with this same mount.
The downrigger mount has the bolt pattern to fit Scotty & Cannon downriggers it may fit other brand downriggers contact me with the bolt spacing for other brands and I will let you know if it will work.
The mount is designed to adjust down to the top of a gunnel which gives support to the mount this is important using this mount unsupported may or may not cause damage to the mounting of the rail system.
Look for a future crab davit that will bolt to this mount this product is still in the designing and prototyping process.
