The Strong Arm Dog Bone Extensions are designed to be used in conjunction with our base mounts, right angle mounts, rod holder mounts and top mounts. The Strong Arm Dog Bone Extensions are available in 5 lengths 4”, 8” & 12”. The Dog Bone Extensions can be used single or in tandem to make any 10 degree angle desired or used straight in line to make a longer extension. Using multiple extensions does increase stress on the base components so care and good judgement should be taken not to add too much weight at the end of multiple extensions.
The Strong Arm Dog Bone Extensions are constructed from structural aluminum 6061 T6 aluminum from 3/8" thick stock and coated with marine clear anodize. The Dog Bone Extensions have a chamfer around the perimeter so there are no sharp edges to reduce chances of cutting a fishing line. These Dog Bone Extensions are very strong for their intended use.
